Sports Medicine & Shoulder

Dr. Tal Hendrix is a native of Jackson, MS. He is specially trained in the treatment of sports-related injuries, specifically hips, knees, shoulder, and elbow injuries. He attended Millsaps College, where he studied Biology and played on the football and baseball teams.

Dr. Hendrix graduated from medical school at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and also went on to complete an orthopedic residency there. As a part of his residency training, he was accepted to and worked in an AO fellowship program in Zurich, Switzerland under Dr. Christian Gerber. After residency, he and his family moved to Greenville, SC where he had the honor to train with the Steadman Hawkins Sports Medicine Fellowship. There he learned under the leadership of Dr. Richard Hawkins, Dr. John Tokish, and many other giants in the field of Sports Medicine and shoulder reconstruction.
